DIY Dollar Store 3-Tiered Plant Propagation Tray That Looks Like a Boutique Centerpiece

This is a simple and affordable project inspired by some of the best dollar store hacks, but with a glam Dollar to Diva twist.

🛍️ What You’ll Need

  • 3 plates in different sizes (try clear, white, or faux marble plastic)

  • 2 candle holders (glass or ceramic work best)

  • Small clear jars, mini vases, or upcycled Oui yogurt jars

  • E6000 glue or strong adhesive

  • Optional: spray paint (white, metallic, or soft pastel)

  • Pebbles, moss, or small decorative stones

💎 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Prep your plates and jars

Choose plates that have clean, modern lines or a sleek finish. Wash and dry everything completely.If you want a custom color, spray paint the plates and candle holders now. Let them dry fully.


2️⃣ Build your base

Apply a generous amount of E6000 glue around the rim of the first candle holder. Center it on the bottom plate and press firmly.Add glue to the top of the candle holder and place the second plate on top.Repeat this step with the second candle holder and final plate if you’re adding a third tier.Let each layer set for a few minutes before stacking the next.

3️⃣ Place your jars

Arrange your small jars or upcycled yogurt jars on each plate tier. Fill each jar with water and add your plant cuttings.

4️⃣ Add finishing touches

Decorate around the jars with pebbles, moss, or decorative stones for a polished look.You can also weave in fairy lights for a dreamy glow.

5️⃣ Let it cure

Allow the glue to cure fully for at least 12 to 24 hours before moving or styling your tray.
